Call for participants: Performance control & motor functions

Postby MTop » Wed Feb 17, 2021 4:06 pm

The Motor Development and Impact lab at the University of Surrey would like to invite you to participate in an online study.

The study looks at how individuals control their actions and what strategies they use to successfully complete different types of tasks. The study can be completed by adult participants between the age of 18 and 65. Parents with children who are between the age of 8 and 17 years old can also take part.

Adult participants should have a diagnosis of dyspraxia, developmental coordination disorder, a chronic tic disorder or Tourette’s syndrome. If you don’t have these conditions, and you have no other conditions that affect your movement, you can also take part in the study as a comparison participant. If you are participating with your child, the above applies to your child only. All participants must be based in the UK and speak fluent English.

The study comes in 3 parts, you can complete it from the comfort of your home and you will be reimbursed with a £10 Amazon voucher.
