Damned if I could find the article, but I was browsing Psychology Today a few days ago at work and stumbled upon an article which suggested that laughing out loud while alone is rather uncommon. I found this strange, because I'm far more prone to laugh loudly when alone than I am when in the company of others. Do any of you laugh out loud when alone, whereas you don't publicly?
This is not an exit.

I do laugh in public, but only in contained snickers. I only really laugh out loud when I'm alone, or alone with a friend or two. I guess most people just don't know how to have fun with themselves.

I laugh out loud anywhere if I find some thing humorous. I also frequently laugh at myself behind closed doors.
I was hung from a tree made of tongues of the weak
the branches were bones of the liars, the thieves
Rise up above it, high up above it and see

I can lol alone. I guess that for normal people doing things with others is more fun for some reason (otherwise they would not socialize or have sex). There can be also some copying mechanism human laugh or yawn when he see other people that do it.

Yeah, I recall the article mentioning the copying mechanism also.

I tend to laugh by myself often. It gets wierd when I laugh about nothing in particular, and happen to be in public when it happens.
I'm just wierd like that.

I tend to do this often, usually laugh at things that make most people (normals) recoil in horror such as murders, hilariously brutal accidents or suicides. It creeps people out when I laugh under my breath when something unpleasant has happened like cancer. I cant stop my face from pulling a twisted grin at other people's misfortune, I would guess that I never really understand what genuine feelings are.
I Trust Me
