As a generalization, people often have a baseline of experiencing things through their intellect whilst others experience things through their feelings and emotions and/or some spend most of their time operating on "autopilot"
I've been suggested to try to catch myself/become aware throughout the day when experiencing something positive.
^
Then I'm supposed to take a few moments and take it past experiencing it through intellect-observation into my feelings - even if it's as simple as "I really enjoy having......" or "...... feels really comfortable"
I'm wondering if people feel like sharing how they experience things; I'm assuming through their intellect and/or autopilot - or perhaps another way?

Aestheticism is a big one for me, especially these days when isolation is practically being sanctioned by the government. Less distraction. More room to dream.

I'm an autopilot.
It's as though I've been programmed just to do and not to think or feel.

I can usually not describe how I am feeling about something when asked about it. Not that I’m not feeling anything but more like I don’t know what exactly and I certainly couldn’t put it into words. I experience anger and anxiety perfectly fine, sadness comes through like apathy I just don’t care if I live or die and feel nothing, like I shut down emotionally.
It’s a good exercise I was doing something similar but I have to say from my perspective it’s incredibly frustrating trying to work out very basic feelings and describe them, made me feel like a complete idiot. I’m sure this is the way through it if you have the patience
