Irritation

Postby MalevolentMangos » Mon Feb 04, 2019 10:25 pm

Does anyone get irritated easily? Your mood just turns sour over little things like someone’s tone of voice or people being too close or whatever? I always get really irritated when I’m around other people for sometimes irrational reasons but I get over it within a few minutes and shrug it off by leaving.

Yes.

But I don't think it's a schizoid thing.

I think I'm rather the opposite. I think I can ignore quite a lot and block things out mentally. Usually, if I'm getting irritated, it's more a sign that I haven't eaten or slept properly in a while, and once I correct that, I return to being a rock.

The incessant talking ,that most are prone to, esp women is the most irritating. I am surrounded by women, at work and at home :(
I would be fine with this, if only they would STFU.
It is one of the main reasons I prefer the company of men.

I am also the type to just block it out but to be truthful, I don't know if it's actually still bothering me. Like maybe it's an underlying cause of stress that I am covering up, slowly taking it's toll. I'm not a huge fan of noisy places/people or people sitting next to me but I think that applies to most introverts.

I was just curious as it is the strongest emotion I feel on a regular basis. Besides irritation I am very flat when it comes to emotional response.
