Are Schizoids consistent people?

Postby iwillsteal » Sun Nov 04, 2018 4:15 pm

Just curious? Do those with a schizoid disorder see themselves as being consistent or continuous...?? Or could it be that discontinuity is an aspect of their being?

Overall, I see myself as a fairly consistent person. I'm not sure which aspects you were referring to.

I am consistent in my inconsistencies.

I know I am not entirely consistent even though there have been consistent themes in my life. I'm not sure it's entirely related to being Schizoid.

I'm...predictable. I would consider that as a form of consistency.

I've had enough roommates (11 in total somehow and unfortunately) in my life to know they all eventually start telling me what I'm about to do.

I consistently avoid social interaction and have only a few interests. I've been this way my entire life.

In what respect?

I tend to follow a routine in my day to day life but I enjoying mixing it up sometimes. I try to do as much on auto-pilot as I can, but I'm not absolutely rigid about my schedule.

I have opinions but I'm not that committed to them and I'm sure some of them are contradictory.

I probably have some things in common with other schizoid people and some things that are different. I hate spending time with people but I have a reasonably successful and fulfilling career and enjoy a lot of hobbies.

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking.

Good way to put it.

I'm very consistent in myself. I've only felt inconsistent or aimless when it came to things foisted upon me from outside. Trends, milestones, expectations, etc.

I see nothing wrong with that at this point. So please, just tell me, how do you support yourself??
