Can't say what the difference is exactly.

Wouldnt someone with Aspergers/Autism have trouble reading body language and social queues and lack empathy? I dont see those as schizoid traits.

See above (page 1 or 3 the looong yellow cite):
"
There may be great difficulty differentiating individuals with Schizoid Personality Disorder from those with milder forms of Autistic Disorder and from those with Asperger's Disorder. Milder forms of Autistic Disorder and Asperger's Disorder are differentiated by more severely impaired social interaction and stereotyped behaviours and interests.
"

That means, esp. if you have stereotyped interests that'd be a good indication. Whatever this means in practice, train spotting maybe or ordering the cutlery drawer every day, don't know. But it needs to be repetitive and always the same (masturbation excluded I guess :). And the more severely impaired interaction reminds me of that I heard that Asperger people will not lie. Afaik Schizoid people also lie less (than e.g. AsPD (depending on the circumstance), NPD, HPD who are one big walking lie), but I'd guess (wo being a specialist) that Asperger's would not even lie to be polite, or less.

However, I also read from a famous (in my country) scientific book from a professor that Schizoid personality disorder is hard to differentiate and needs to be done by a specialist. I guess it'd be worth the money.

Has anyone been diagnosed with SPD only to have the diagnosis revoked because of a present PDD? I thought I could simply be diagnosed with a comorbid ASD SPD diagnosis but the department in which I was sent to doesn't allow comorbidity between the two apparently.
