As usual, it wasn't as bad as the anticipatory dread. At one point I was actually enjoying pretending to be all normal and sh*t. Eventually my 'banality blocker' stopped functioning and I became intolerably bored. Always go to parties alone; that way you don't have to convince someone else to leave.

There is not even one 'IDWT' rehab centre in the world.
Think i'm gonna have to start an 'I don't want to' movement.
except I don't really want to go on social media :(

Social media is a limp dick.

Think of all the movements from the 60's that affected change without social media. The only way to manipulate the masses through social media is to do it subliminally, like the Russians.

Almost three years of #metoo and bitches still be getting raped.

I woke up feeling like traveling again. All because I have a blister on my thumb and I was googling what the interwebs has to say about popping it.

It makes sense, believe me. :D

I won't actually be traveling any sooner than a year from now, but the idea is a good incentive for me to stay healthy and in shape year-round.
Is this now?

I find without the anticipatory dread, it will always be worse. The dread is a necessary evil to make an event seem more bearable. I operate in reverse to the law of attraction.

It has been years since a social event produced any surprises for me. But perhaps one should never give up hoping one might be wrong.

Haha nah... It's just that I had a monstrous blister on the sole of my foot when I arrived at one of the most pleasant places I've been to. The blister was bad enough that it could have made my week miserable, but it was barely any problem at all, because I did pop the damn thing right away. :)

True. I give myself anticipatory dread over a lot of things; going to work, dealing with bureaucracies, making coffee, watching TV, just about everything. It works. Except for the bureaucracy thing: no matter what horror I imagine, it always ends up being worse.

I want to thank the user Oblivion for recommending meditation to me. I was stressed beyond belief because of petty drama at work from a childish, petty person. He recommended me searching "five minute meditation" on Youtube, and this is what I found https://youtu.be/inpok4MKVLM and it worked.

Thank you, Oblivion

I amazed myself this morning. Sourcing warm bedding for our feral cats this winter motivated me to leave the house on a day off. I can't imagine doing it for any person.
I was inspired by these.

My mom and I are looking into those. Yes yes.
