a delicate problem - help needed urgently

Postby olivie » Tue Apr 19, 2005 11:39 pm

Dear everyone,

I was hoping to get some insight on how to help my girlfriend to learn to use the bathroom at my place/in public places. She is a very reserved and shy person, and this problem is causing a lot of frustration in our relationship. She can urinate fine, it's the other thing that she can't do anywhere but at her place. Because of this we can't really do weekends together or go on a trip without her feeling full and uncomfortable.

Could anyone recommend a book/therapeutic approach she can use to learn the skills and overcome the problem? Thanks in advance!
