It's cruel and unusual. America has long since forgotten its constitution when it comes to so-called
"sex-crimes," and its people have proven just as conformist when it comes to other people's oppression as the German people are accused of having been in the case of the holocaust.

Many people here have no issue with accepting this as part of who they are, but I can't. I think I will be happier if I had no libido at all. Has anyone here undergone chemical castration? What is the process, and is it worth it? Thank you.

i know this topic is getting a bit old but having talked to my psychotherapist one thing i will add is that for chemical castration to be effective you have to want to change. it is not a cure all and without support and therapy it can leave you worse off. it also takes time to work, with me the first few months were up and down but i stuck at it and now it works well. i personally think it should be more widely available but it has such a bad aura with it that it is automatically associated with pedophiles and sex offenders that guys with lesser problems can not get a doctor to take interest. it should be renamed as hormone treatment as it could be a great benefit to a lot of guys. i had to push hard to get on it,confronting consultants, which amazed me as i normally couldn't do that, but with some things i dont give up on.you will have to be sure you want it it may not be all you expect but it can be a life saver for some.
