What's happening to me?

Postby nthmt16 » Wed Jan 06, 2016 2:31 am

First of all, I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong forum, I really don't know how to classify it.

Alright, so... Whenever I'm in a crowded place (esp. a dark place, i.e a pub or something) I feel really weird and I kinda panick. It's like I'm out of myself, like I'm detached from my body. I feel like I'm watching things and people around me from another perspective and my sight changes, I don't know how to explain it. Thankfully that feeling only lasts for some minutes, 30 minutes at most, but it's really awful and makes me anxious.

Hello there,

It sounds like it could be an adrenal dump to me. Basically, a load of adrenaline being released during a situation that makes you anxious.

This is why things appear weird, our minds race and we feels the physical symptoms of anxiety. Usually, we're inclined to run away. All I say is don't. The adrenaline will pass.

Hope this has helped :)
