Intrusive thoughts during climax, need help

Postby OcdSuffer » Fri Sep 17, 2021 12:17 pm

Sometimes is hard to ignore intrusive thoughts, escpecially when they pop up during climax. Then Arousal non concordance occurs, your body can’t stop the climax which supposed to feel physically good and Your mind gets all this intrusive thoughts, that You try to get rid of but they keep coming up and then ocd try’s to tell you that You have orgasm and you enjoy’s these thoughts. Even that You know You don’t enjoy them and that You don’t want them. Also the Anxiety can be confused with arousal.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this? I cried like a Child today because of it.

It will take time and self-exploration to know what you think and feel at your core. As you have described, I've had intrusive thoughts, but I realized that is not what I wanted when I got to the bottom of things.

Let me add that when I do get an intrusive thought as I relieve myself of the sexual frustration, I recognize them for what they are. Those thoughts don't represent what my core being wants.

I don't know if it is possible to get rid of those thoughts. However, if those thoughts don't represent what your core being wanted, you need to acknowledge, "Those thoughts are not who I am."

I know, but at the moment when this happens it’s so much confiuson what’s going on and why and how. Then After few minutes anxiety get’s worse and worse because You realise what happeneded and You can’t explain it. The fact that OCD try’s to block my emotions such as disgust and dislike to this thoughts and tried to tell me that I enjoy it while feeling physical climax is one of the worst things to overcome.

You said you enjoyed it during this specific time. What about after or any other time? If your answer is "No," those thoughts are not who you are.

I've dealt with that confusion for years. Like me, you need to get to know your core being and what it wants.

No I didn’t enjoy it, I felt the climax physically which obviously supposed to feel good, but during climax I had intrusive thoughts which I didn’t enjoy so these thoughts made me to want to stop the climax because these thoughts and physical climax didn’t match up. But at the same time my OCD tried to tell me that I enjoyed climax together with the thoughts but I didn’t. This made me confused and gave me „what if” I enjoyed ?

Now I understand, and I don't know how to respond. Therefore, we need someone else to answer.
