obsessed about lost mobile

Postby jaus tail » Sun Jan 05, 2020 6:11 am

i lost my mobile in cab on dec 17, 2019, n i cant stop hoping i'd get it back. i tried all options, police complaint, customer care of sim... but they wont help. their attitude is too laid back.

my friends told me to let it go. but i cant. i got stressed even when i lost my water bottle in college a few months ago.
how do i let it go... i dont even know what to type, but at night i get anxiety n at morning i dont even feel like getting out of bed...

I'm not an expert on this subject, but I believe the reason why you're obsessed with your lost mobile is due to the fear of losing something important, has anything in your past ever led you to your obsession? Again, I'm not an expert, just trying to help.
Ohhh,

I have all my wellness,
My mind goes chop chop chop,
If it misses the spaces in around,
My well being will come off,

And if its hit my well being,
Tears will soon come out,

But all the same,
I play this too cause that's what it's all about.

Well, I have to say I wouldn't stress getting mine back, because after a reasonable search I would have already logged in and bricked it. Sure, I would still worry about data being left somehow, but with nothing that can be done other than change a bunch of passwords, I'd have to let it go...

it feels like loss of control. i dont bother much about data, but i just feel stupid n wish he'd return the mobile somehow. like victory over him maybe. i found out an agent's number. he can help me get details of driver from vehicle number, but that'd be like illegalish way.

I take it you weren't able to track it soon enough after losing it, then...

phones have become rather intimate parts of us, for sure. Having it lost or stolen can be disconcerting.

the mobile was in vibrating mode and had 14 % battery. the cops here are indifferent for such minute cases. i gave them IMEI number (mobile tracking), but they wont pay heed.

it felt like intimate part of me get lost... like losing control...

Oh, definitely! I've nearly lost mine several times and it's a terrible feeling.
