Psellismophilia

Psellismophilia is the sexual arousal to people who stutter/stammer.

My name is Natalie, I'm a 22 year old college student, and I have a serious fetish for stuttering.

It's to the point where I can't get off without thinking about it.

I've never been with anyone who stutters, so it's just been videos and imagination.

Sometimes I really wish I didn't have it, because it interrupts my normal life. I feel like I can't date ...

Stuttering at work?

Hey everyone. How many of you with a job have told your employer about your speech impediment?
I have never told my former employers about it, but I just got an offer to work at a hostess in a prestige establishment and I freaked out because they hired me and I didn`t tell them that there could be times where I might stutter or get nervous. I turned the job offer down, because the pressure ...

Strange thing when half-asleep

I stutter and whenever I'm half-asleep around people who are talking (even a TV turned on) I notice that I can understand the words being said a fraction of a second before I actually hear them, as if I were able to somehow know in advance what I'm going to hear a fraction of a second from now! It only happens when I'm on the verge of falling asleep.

Does anyone else notice that? I ...

Background: I am bilingual and stutter differently according to what language I use and with who. My brother had a stutter then went to speech therapy when he was in elementary school. When I was his age, there ...

My experience with Stuttering

My experience with Stuttering

Hey, I have been a stutterer for about 7 years, and have had incredible improvement with my speech fluency recently(about 85% fluent as of typing). In the 7 years I have had this problem, I have shared many of the same experiences as some of you have had, from the crippling anxiety when meeting a new person, to people finishing your sentences, to parents and close friends not understanding the ...

We need more research on stuttering

First off, my name is Eugene. I have been a stutterer since I was six-years-old. I can actually remember my childhood where I didn't stutter at all.

My stutter became worse with every year and at times it seemed to improve and then get worse again. My life goal is to find a cure for stuttering and help the many people in the world who suffer from it daily. I have been doing research on ...

Lack of Speech?

This is the only place I can find to post this. I'm sorry if it's not in the right spot.

For years, I've had problems with my speech. It started out with stuttering, and now it's to the point where I can't even open up my mouth to talk. Recently, I've gone to order a latte by myself with my friends waiting at a table, and as soon as I walked up to the lady ...
