when it turns out its not just in your head

if you have many physical problems along with mental health issues like BPD anxiety congnative problems etc, I highly recommend you do research on Lyme Disease and Tick Borne disease. If you have any history of exposure to biting insects (not only ticks transmit these disease it can also be transmitted sexualy and congenitaly) , your symptoms may be from one of these 'steath' diseases. Google for a Lyme symptom check list. of them are ...

I want to get fat, but I'm not sure if it's okay for me to.

Like the title says, I want to be fat. I don't want to be obese or overweight to the point that I'm close to reaching obesity. It's just something that I've fantasized about being ever since I was a kid, and thought that it'd fit me better. I've never tried to actually gain weight on purpose. This is because type 2 diabetes and type 1 diabetes runs in both sides of my family, being heavily ...

Should I go to the doctor for this pain?

For roughly five weeks I've had what was diagnosed as bronchitis, but what I'm starting to suspect is probably whooping cough. For the past two days, my cough has been so intense that it's caused a constant, sharp pain on my shoulder, around the same area my friend felt pain when she had a cough so severe that it cracked her rib. It hasn't been around long, but the pain is moderate to severe depending ...

stomach problems related to mental disorders?

for a few months my stomach has been pretty bad with constipation or diarrhea. I've had lapses of this since I was a kid, but mostly vomiting and sometimes sour stomach which stopped eventually. Been to multiple doctors in the past and they could never tell what it, saying it's just stress. I'm guessing it's irritable bowel syndrome since literally every person I know with mental disorders has that and I feel it's inevitable for ...

Does anybody else get chronic migraines?

I get chronic, frequent migraines almost every day. I treat them successfully by alternating Imitrex with Excedrin Migraine and covering my eyes and forehead with a cold, wet, washcloth and then covering that with a bag of frozen vegetables and lying down for about 20 to 30 minutes in the dark. The treatment always usually works like a charm.

I've suffered from migraines for the last 32 years.

Schizoaffective self therapeutics...............

I have been diagnosed schizoaffective for the last 23 years. I have been schizophrenic for the last 34 years. I have been very, very sick for all of these years. Mostly with delusions and extreme paranoia. Lately, at age 56, I have begun taking matters into my own hands, all the while continuing with my Dr. prescribed antipsychotics and antidepressant. I would never stop my medications.

The self therapy I have started over the last ...

Demand of Electronic Health Records for Physician

The demand for electronic medical records for practices and healthcare alike is very high. The following are the extremely remarkable motives why our healthcare system would be at advantage from the common transformation from paper to electronic health records.

EHRs permit unchallenging monitoring through the complete medical history of a patient. Another key edge is the actuality that the record is accessible at all times. Adoption of electronic health records has reclaimed cash by reducing ...

Freaking out...Brain tumor?!

I just had a breakdown a few hours ago because I felt convinced I have a brain tumor...for the last two months I have had a sore, tender/achy region on the back of my head that primarily feels like a dull, uncomfortable feeling (just to clarify, this is an INTERNALLY sore feeling, not an EXTERNAL one, not like my scalp or something but rather below the surface of my skin). This uncomfortable feeling is noticeably ...
