Husband diagnosed with HPD + NPD..any advice?

Hello everyone,

So love of my life and I got married October 2017, everything was perfect, until I gradually found out about his multiple affairs- one by one...they never stopped (even today); I've been putting up with his demands, sexually and everything else. Now last year on our 1st year anniversary he gave me divorce papers, then 5 days later came to my office and said "I forgive you" .... which I accepted because I ...

Mom not the same after Mini Stroke

Sorry for the long post in advance :P

Some background before I get into the main issue...
My mom will be 70 this year. She has 6 children and I'm the youngest (35 yr old). She has always been a home body when I was growing up, but she always went to our events like plays, ball games, etc. She really enjoyed staying at home though. She ...

Toxic and controlling relationship with mom

I have a toxic relationship with my mother. It started when I was in middle school, but has only gotten drastically worse since I have graduated high school and just finished my first year of college. My parents fought a lot when I was little. I have a memory of my parents yelling at each other in the upstairs hallway while I sat in the middle of them, holding a whiteboard and writing on it ...

Narcissistic abuse is starting to harm the children.

I've been with my husband for over 15 years. I always felt like something was off, but I got really good at suppressing my feelings to keep the peace. Anytime I speak my mind or express any issues I have with him, he makes my life a living hell. Well tonight, I lost it.

My 5 year old daughter started to cry because her nail was hurting as it was too short, and my husband ...

Father and Mother relationship

Hello all,

First off all, i'd like to apologize if this is the wrong section for this kind of issue but as i am new to the forum and seek some advice from experts here. I am writing to you as I notice that the issue is getting out of control. My aunt (father's sister) has gone through a similar phase which resulted in her running away from her husband and leaving her children behind ...

Is there anything I can do?

My newborn child's father (my ex boyfriend) has Bipolar Disorder. He completely rejected our child while I was pregnant, on a whim. He claimed he'd heard voices from "the Divine" telling him that me and our child are "evil and unnatural." He threatened to sue me in court for refusing an abortion. Our daughter is born now and he refuses to accept that she is real. He claimed I'd borrowed a professional child actor to ...

Aftermath of narcissistic abuse

Hi, I wasn't sure where to post what I want to write. I put it here because I was married to a narcissistic female.

I was with her for about 5 years and married for 2. After getting married that's when it all started to go wrong. I eventually managed to leave and get away from her, about a year and a half ago.

I thought once I was free of her that everything would ...

Is this what npd looks like, me or him?

Me and my husband met, fell in love and from there it all happend so fast. We got engaged, married, had our baby. I had my daughter from a previous relationship.

But there has also been so many issues. Everytime I disagreed with him, fx about parenting or I didn’t do things as he liked, he got very mad at me. Calling me all kind of things and mentally ill. In general he had a ...

Greetings, looking for a helpful community - details below.

I’m a father of a 6yr old girl and 2yr old son. I’m American and my wife is Japanese. I’m not sure how much information is considered okay, but she is a nurse and I am a teacher.

About 6mo. after marriage, we began to have serious relationship problems. She thought that I probably had Asperger Syndrome. Since she is a nurse, I accepted there may be truth to her claim and together we ...
