My dad's dimentia is progressing to where it is disturbing me. I don't want to admit that I'd rather leave things be. But I couldn't. I do care about him a lot. Just am not showing it much to detach myself from him. I know that isn't right. But do any one of you have recmendations, for dealing with oncoming senility. Cause that's what I've been having trouble dealing with most.

If someone close to you and acting strange and can't remember you already. She only remembers some of the past events you were together. Is this alarming? She turning 79 and a bit old. I notice that she looks depressed too. What are your thoughts?

I visited my mom last week and I noticed that she's acting a bit strange. She seemed not to recognized me and she's really forgetful of so many things. She even loses her interest in going out with friends. I realized These might be some symptoms of Dementia. I'm worried and I want to hear some of your advice about it.

So for the past month or so I've developed this weird obsession with defining words. Every word I would hear or see, I'd feel compelled to define it. Now the english vocabulary is pretty extensive, so defining every word is impossible, but somehow my brain didn't accept that. Any word that I would regularly use (i.e. tragedy, detail, assist etc.) I'd try to define, and if the definition I gave the word didn't perfectly ...

I have been diagnosed with dimentia. I forget things so easily. The reason I am writing this is because I have just been diagnosed with dimentia. It is very easy for me to forget things. I don't even know why I'm writing this.

For those in this section that suffer from dementia. How do you keep track of your username and password? Or if you wrote a topic or a comment? You use sticky notes?
