I would appreciate your help with my dissertation survey!

Hi,

I am a graduate researcher at the University of Florida studying people receiving face-to-face mental health counseling. Specifically, I am examining how things in our lives (e.g., friends, family support, health, etc.) affect symptoms while in counseling. If you are willing to participate, please visit this web site:

The survey here takes between 20-30 minutes to complete.

Coping Resources

Hi all~

I'm just posting to ask for information about where to find support for family members of those who live with bipolar disorder. The person I love most in the world has been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder by different psychiatrists over the years. Then he was told he didn't have it and went off all of his medications. I have been reading as much info about it as I can, and a lot of articles talk about Lithium as being a preventative treatment and something that makes the effect of bipolar milder, but then I read postings from people that are medicated and are still going through hell... so I'm curious as to how much of a ...

Voices...

Now I know that this is a rather contentious issue, and one that gets over-stereo typed in the movies and media, but what's the deal with hearing voices.

I am usually a pretty glib fellow, I am often the first to make a joke about my condition. I do it to show people that I am comfortable with it, and to put them at ease.

But this is a different kettle of fish, so to ...
