I can also be tired the next day " despite having slept all night".
Maybe it isn't "quality" sleep? There can be many factors tied into this, rule out the possible physical things first.
I would pursue this discussion with your physician. They may refer you on to a sleep specialist or overnight sleep monitor trial?
My eyes begin to close around sunset. I haven't been able to stay up until midnight in ages. My cat gets me up about 3:30am because I have to be at work at 5:00am.
I take naps on my day off. I try to watch what I eat and drink before bed.
I am on Sertraline which helps unclutter and quiet my mind which can be busy and noisy when idle. The med seems to help me fall asleep more easily.
