Ontological Security in Narcissism

Postby GadSitar » Tue May 28, 2019 12:37 pm

Are narcissists ontologically secure? I have read some pretty interesting work relating to SPD and it mentions that they lack ontological security. Is this the case with NPD or is it more common to suffer from attachment disorder?

You dont think theres anything wrong about you, but you also have no ability to self reflect and know yourself, so ontological might not apply. But you are secure in so far as you cant understand, how ###$ up you are.

So you are saying narcissists are a lot less self reflective than schizoids?

Maybe you are right that ontological insecurity is not a narcissistic dilemma per se.

I only knew the way I was. Speaking on "we" to myself and was nothing wrong with that. Regreted rejecting the girl and rejected her again. Was in love with her, had all the answers, "It has to be her", and it didnt matter. I had NO ability to self reflect.
