photo sensitivity increases exponentially as day progresses

sounds like you definitely have the right diagnosis then and the symptoms do fit in well with that.
Sorry about the light sensitivity - that's difficult i know.. I struggle with that myself (especially when i'm tired or feeling a bit off in some way)
