Seriously suicidal because of OCD and devastating fatigue

Postby mansnils » Wed Jan 23, 2019 1:10 pm

My fatigue is so severe that it leaves me unable to overcome my obsessive thoughts. The fatigue also renders me unable to fulfill my obligations at school. I'm also completely physically and emotionally numb as though nothing is real. I want to die. Of course there is hope out there that things will get better, but I don't know what that hope is and what that hope would come from.

Just having OCD causes fatigue. The intrusive thoughts, the repetitive behaviors, and the anxiety from not performing rituals is enough to disable even the strongest individual.

As for hope, it all comes from within. Believe in yourself, and you can control your OCD like I do. OCD is like a monster. It's only scary if you allow yourself to be scared of it. Once you are no longer scared of it, this monster called OCD will creep away into oblivion ...
Primary Dx: OCD
Secondary Dx: Bipolar
Meds: None. I refuse to poison my body and mind with psych drugs.
