I'm proud of myself today because I studied and reviewed material, took a little time to spend out in nature, and wrote my mom a letter to give to her when I move out. Expressing my thoughts, feelings, truths, and what's been weighing on me for a long time.

I’m proud of myself today because I didn’t pretend everything was fine.
Sometimes, not faking a smile is the bravest thing you can do. I didn’t rush to fix myself. I just sat in the storm without trying to escape it. And strangely, that gave me more peace than pretending ever did.
Reading through this thread, I’m struck by how real everyone’s wins are. They’re not flashy. They’re raw and earned. From getting out of bed to facing therapy homework to admitting dark feelings without shame — every post here has its own quiet heroism.
So if no one’s told you today: I see you. And I’m proud of you too.

Thanks man
I'm proud of you too
I recently left a place that was holding me back
It's a sad sad situation to be honest but I feel my time was over there
It was as if I was waiting to be given permission to leave in a way
Anyway I'm proud of what I achieved in that place and I'm proud to be able to walk away from there too
No regrets!

I'm proud of myself today because:
Today was the day when I stuck to my decision to not walk back into an abusive situation
I think my therapist would call that "being kind" to myself
