What's driving you crazy today? - (Venting thread)

Postby Iwoya » Tue Oct 02, 2012 12:15 pm

I thought we needed a thread to just vent and get things out of our heads. Someone once posted "words left unspoken become breathless and suffocate your soul".

But maybe it's just because I want to vent.

I have worked at a job for over 20yrs. I did well, receiving accomodations for my work and then......

My disorder showed. I was triggered and had trouble dealing with things (that's when I found this place.). Anyway I admitted to my disorder.

My job suddenly changed. I was demoted (to reduce the stress on me)
I feel like as soon as they saw me as mentally ill. That's all they could see. One incident and all my success is forgotten.

I HATE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sleep is my drug….my bed is my dealer and my alarm clock is the police.

I would have thought Canada had some anti-discrimination laws that you could call upon, Iwoya?

It's not right that you should get kicked down the ladder, and have your hard work undone by other people's ignorance and misconceptions.

What's driving me crazy today? Other people's expectations and a badly timed dose of flu. Image

Why do certain registering bodies who will remain nameless make things so bloody difficult?

Why do co-workers assume that it's ok to have physical contact with me when we're talking? I hate to be touched. I don't want you to hug me, put your hands on my shoulders, elbow me in the side, pat my hand, or put your hand on my back.

Three people did stuff like that today.

Hologram, ask your coworkers about this (second part, re: Mensa).

Oops - didn't catch the spelling yesterday. Very clever.

I'm the same way.

Twinkling.... ....... loved the color scheme. And it never would have occurred to me to consider the colorblind. :)
