Apparently, seven million dogs in the US suffer from that condition. I never thought that animals can have mental disorders, I knew that dogs experience some type of feelings that are like those of humans, like love, sadness, jealousy etc, but I had no idea that animals can have mental disorders too.

You've obviously never had a cat.
Kids need to know they suck.

My one bird used to dance to whatever music I'd play. Whether I play it through a bluetooth speaker or on vinyl, she'd dance. Now she lets out blood curling screams of pain and agony. She used to love my death and black metal vinyls. Now she hates all music.

I have a dog who has an anxiety disorder. He's the most anxious dog I've ever had.

It's only exacerbated with age - now he's blind in one eye and hard of hearing and he's a wreck.

When I was young I noticed one day that my dog used to cringe when I went near it.

I started being kind to it after that.

I must have made it scared.

You know what's scary?

Seeing an OP from 2004 in the cue line.

I swear to god that my lovebird has something seriously wrong with him. I have never had such an eccentric animal in my life. Like, everything he does, I question. I don't do that with any of the other birds. Like right now, he's on the floor, running full speed back and forth from my computer desk, to my night stand, and occasionally jumping and screaming as he does. Other things he does are jumping up and down in his food and run around in circles on top of the cage.
