What do you do and how do you spend your time with? Do you have routines and a specific timetable?

Yesterday I:
Woke up before 6 am, had coffee, showered and wen't to work, in public transportation I trust, more specifically commuter train, earphones on and music.
Before actually arriving at work I'm making a quick stop to purchase some essential supplies.
Work - customer service, phone and around 20 people/students are present during this specific day.
Aside of work, I need to wake up my son and make sure he is having breakfast and getting dressed in time for school. I am busy but I still like our morning calls/talks.

At lunch time I'm having salad.

8 hours work and I'm done. On my way out my son calls again he is safely at home. Great. I'm running to catch a metro and to meet with my therapist. Again while moving from place A to B I'm listening music and isolating myself from the outside world with earphones.
After therapy I catch a bus and a train, after 6 pm I'm at home. My SO has prepared dinner. I'm doing laundry and I decide to go for a walk. I intent to cool off on my way across a park and also get some cat food. The little fur ball is pretty much my responsibility. When arriving back home there are 3 little boys and a lot of noise. I offer them sweets.
Gathering laundry and other chores. Preparing the kid for bedtime.
9 pm, sitting on a couch and having a brief argument with my SO. A bit of TV. Around 11 pm going to sleep.

Day off

- Wake up
- Be lazy

Work day

- Wake up
- Go to work
- Get a grocery cart
- Gather the ingredients
- Turn everything on
- Start mixing
- Pull my cell phone out while I wait for the dough to form
- Check psychforums for all the posts I missed while I was asleep
- Text someone
- Text someone again
- Put gloved finger in the dough to make sure it's good to go
- Lift up the 100+ pound bowl of dough
- Yell cuss words as I lift it
- Get it out of the giant bowl
- Go to war with it, trying to flatten it out enough to cut
- Cut
- Place on screens
- Cut out dough for apple fritters.
- Use more slices apples in whatever high fructose corn syrup glaze they're in than what I'm supposed to
- Turn fryer on
- Proof the doughnuts
- Get the breads and rolls going
- Throw the brownies, muffins and the rest of the pastries into the oven
- Clean out the doughnut case
- Throw the trays in the dishwasher
- Pray to the Holy Polly Doughnut that they're washed before the doughnuts are done
- Say another prayer to be sure the dishwasher doesn't break down
- Say another prayer hoping the fryer turns off and doesn't turn back on
- Mark the old doughnuts down
- Fry the doughnuts
- Glaze or sugar the doughnuts
- Proof the bread
- Complete the doughnuts (filled, iced, whatevs)
- Bake the breads
- Try to think of a way to get out of doing sticky and cinnamon buns
- Lolly gag around
- Realize I have to do the sticky and cinnamon buns
- Complain about having to do the sticky and cinnamon buns
- Do the cinnamon and sticky buns
- Complain that I had to do the sticky and cinnamon buns
- Clean
- Either go sit in the break room or stand in the deli (no cameras in there) and play on my phone until it comes time to punch out.
- Go home
- Do nothing.
Email me if you want a doughnut

The young have aspirations that never come to pass, the old have reminiscences of what never happened.
