Ringing in my ears keeping me awake

Postby MEmery19 » Mon Oct 15, 2018 2:29 am

I've been hearing ringing in my ears ever since a party last week.
It has loud music but I wasn't near exposed to it for very long.
I only notice the ringing when it's quiet at night and I'm trying to get some sleep.
So far it hasn't gotten any better.
Any advice on how long I should wait to see improvement?

Possibly hearing damage? It may be temporary.
Other issues can also cause ringing in the ears. If it doesn't abate soon, you might want to consult with a doctor.
Hard to say, if it began right after the loud party, that it could also be a coincidence, or not. How is your blood pressure at rest? Are you on any meds?

Hi, are you currently taking any meds like gabapentin or trazodone? Those 2 meds are notorious for being oto-toxic.

Wishing you blissful sleep,
James
