I miss my cat so much

Postby BlondieND » Sun Feb 04, 2007 2:37 am

I suffer from Trichotillomania but since i got a persian cat (my dream pet) 18 months ago, i found myself getting better, everytime i had the urge to pull, i woiuld just pick up my baby and give him a cuddle, he was more then a pet, he was my friend. At the beginning of this year, I said goodbye to him, i blame myself for everything that happened and living with the guilt is as hard as living without him. Now, im back to how i used to be, about 5 mins ago i nearly overdosed on sleeping tablets but i wasnt brave enough to even do that, just like last time.

I cant talk to no one about how i feel as my family do not care.

I feel so lost and scared.

I cant stand living without the only thing i had in my life.

Dear BlondieND,
I am posting to you again, this time in public, as your post about your cat moved me, and I am concerned that you don't hurt yourself. Please post on how you are doing, good bad or otherwise.
I hope you see this post and take from it the realization that another soul has empathy with you.

BlondieND-

I agree with puma. I have had many pets but there are two cats that stick out. Both of them I had to put to sleep. They were suffering in ways I did not know, and I kicked myself for a long time and I could not even say the cat's name for a couple yrs afterwards.

I understand how you feel.

Nothing could replace your lost of your cat, but as you see yourself slipping knowing how much you cat helped you- try and make another furry friend.

Dont rush it. I think that would be much more positive than you questioning your life, and see you hurt yourself. Please, Please post back and let us know you are all right.

With Great Love....

Thank you both for being so nice and for taking the time to write to me. People like you restore my faith in human kind, people can and do care.

Means a hell of a lot.

Most Dog Owners care about their dogs just like cat owners do about their cats. If you have a dog and you become close, know that if you lose it, there are others here that will understand how you feel.

So how is Blondie doing since this is a older post????

Spring there yet???

Dear Blondie,

I am so sorry about your cat and I can understand your grief.

I am concerned that you are so alone and that you do not appear to have a personal support network in the real world.

Do you have a therapist? Remember, we are here for you.
