I'm glad you are feeling a little better, the routines we established with our doggies become so ingrained that it is hard to adjust to it when it changes and I even think that is true for doggies as well, more and more I am convinced that next year will see my return to being a doggy daddy as I miss the companionship and unconditional love.

It simply stinks to lose a pet. I don't think there is any method to the grieving process - it just takes time to get over the loss. I am so very sorry for the loss of your dog. :(
