There's no absolute cure to my knowledge even if you count addictive substances like marijuana. When I'm stressed I like a warm chamomile infusion (chamomile herbal tea), with a little sugar. Chamomile is known to help people relax and sleep.

I have seen in a herbal site http://www.mamaherb.com/ that Passiflora is used as an anti-anxiety drug due to its calming action in treating anxiety and to treat stress pour one cup of boiling water over two teaspoons of the Valerian dried root, cover, and steep for 15 minutes. Strain, and drink up to three cups daily as needed.
I hope it will help you.

Dear Or jonathan, I don't think this is good idea to take medicine for anxiety and stress. The most commonly thing for you is that control over yourself try to get normal more than times. Pull out some time for mediation type work.

Passiflora Incarnata can sometimes help anxiety and stress.

But you should try other ways of relaxation first: exercise, massage, and you can find more ideas here: http://stress-help-guide.com/simple-stress-management-techniques/

Hey Or Jonathan,
Along with passionflower, you can take St. John's Wort, Valerian root and B vitamin complex (specifically B5 and B12), Kava, and Gamma-aminobutyric Acid (GABA). GABA is a protein that is naturally found in your brain to help regulate your excitatory response (dopamine, seratonin, etc.). If you are deficient in GABA then you are going to have a higher nervous response than normal. For more information, including dosing suggestions click on these links.

Herbals can help, but they may not too.

I think it's important to find out what is triggering your anxiety, and work through it ...
