Have a leg fetish

When I was 12, I developed a leg fetish, much like people do for feet, except for me it was a girl's legs. It turned me on to think of wrapping around or laying on top of and grinding into the calf or have them wrapped around me, so girls in skirts or shorts really turned me on. Just the softness and curves were really appealing to me, and still is. I've always seen it where most men love breasts and ass, I love legs that way and can get off exclusively on them.
I fantasized about only that for a couple years until I felt comfortable enough to think about actual sex with a girl. Unfortunately, this fetish turned me into a pedo as I found the slender and petite size of little girls legs turned me on the most. Came across a yearbook with girls in skirts and the rest is history. The sexual interest followed and so that began. But that's another story and topic.
I'm not sure why I'm posting as it doesn't cause me distress, but I'm wondering how unusual the leg fetish part is. I can't seem to find anything on it on the internet, from pics to anyone else talking of it, it always leads to foot fetish topics.. can anyone relate?

I don't know how unusual it is. If you didn't find anything on the web, it's probably because many people don't consider it a fetish (Although I think if you're going to call a strong affinity for feet a fetish, why not do the same for legs?)

I often call myself a butt-man but really it's the legs/thighs that do it for me. To be completely honest no other part of the female body even compares (lust wise,) perhaps it's in our genes because my identical twin brother feels the same way.

I can relate to the part about little girls (although I also like bigger thighs, so they don't need to be petite.) If a little girl in a skirt is anywhere near me and the skirt flies up like it often does when they play, It's very challenging for me to not check out their legs.

Why isn't obsession with breasts referred to as a fetish? They're no more necessary for reproduction than legs or feet.

Maybe not, though they are directly connected to successful child rearing given that they carry milk.

Breasts are also considered desirable much more often than legs or feet, although breasts aren't as desired as most would think.

By that line of reasoning, anyone fixated on bums has a bum fetish, and legs have nothing to do with successful child-rearing. I think 'fetish' is just a label from a more sexually conservative past. Human sexuality is exceedingly diverse, it's just that certain attractions or fixations are more common than others. I think when psychologists assume that 'normal' sexuality has to centre on childbirth/child-rearing they are making false assumptions about how sexuality functions and develops.

I find legs of women highly attractive (if I find the woman overall attractive) and you could say I have a semi-fetish towards legs, but my primary fetish is for woman's feet, which is embarrassing, but I am going to start a thread on it.

I think many men like a hot pair of female legs, but when you are especially infatuated with them it becomes a "fetish". As long as its not causing problems in your relationships or great guilt etc, then its not a problem or abnormality in itself.

Just to follow up, yeah it doesn't cause any real problems, it's just it seems so unusual to me because I can get off on that much like one would on a foot fetish or anything. I guess like you say it's just an odd preference. I too can occasionally have a foot fetish but it's secondary to a hot pair of legs, which are the main attraction to me.

A great many humans have and enjoy fetishes about nearly anything you can name. And, yes, I imagine that anyone who copes with a fetish, or multiple fetishes as I do, can relate to what you have told us.

In the end, even if no one else in the world shared that fetish with you, that would not make it abnormal, but just an attribute of your sexuality. Since you have discovered that the legs of young girls are a turn-on for you, it would be a good idea not to advertise it, even in groups like this. We live in an incredibly anti-sex, pro-Christian society; many Christians, not to mention people of other belief systems, would be more than willing to punish you severely for your thoughts, and punish you in very irreligious ways. You would also risk the involvement of police if you were too open, for police in many ways are the handmaidens of religion.

Nice to see that there are many other leg fetish people out there. I've been obsessed with legs since I was a little kid. I prefer bare legs over nylons or stockings. Love thighs and knees. Doesn't matter if they're in a skirt or a pair of shorts, as long as they're extremely short.

Here's my earliest recollection of the first time a pair of legs got me sexually aroused. When I was about 4 or 5 one of my aunts lived in the same house as my parents and I. She was only 12 years older than me, more of a "big sister" really. One day I just happened to wander into her bedroom where she was doing her homework.
