immigration for parent who lacks capacity?

Hi,

I found out today my parent is in a psychiatric hospital, admitted against her will about 2 months ago. This is not the first time. She was diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar about 12 years ago, and she moved back to Brazil before it all got quite bad.

I'm a British citizen, my mum lived in the UK for 20 years, married to a British citizen for about 10 of those years. She is divorced now. She is Brazilian.

Can anyone please help me understand, or point me in the direction of, what the options I have are? If she leaves the hospital in Brazil, she will have to live by herself, which isn't safe and something will happen to her.

Ideally I would like to have her admitted into a psychiatric care home in the UK (is this a thing?) so I can visit and help. I'm asking if anyone knows if i can bring my mum to the UK despite her illness? She would need care. Appreciate any information that could help, sorry if this isn't the right place.
