Internal chatter when on the edge of sleep or wakefulness

Postby Ratio » Thu Jun 04, 2020 7:24 pm

Internal chatter when on the edge of sleep or wakefulness, is this a thing for you?

I don't have this while awake. I do have it when almost awake or in a state close to sleep, sometimes it happens anyway. It's like an open door to a lot of internal discussion and then it closes upon waking. But then I forget what was said upon waking too.

Is this a DID thing?

Yep, it's a DID thing, as far as I know.

In here we try to keep it to a minimum by chatting "far from consciousness" whenever possible, so that the one falling asleep can get some sleep. Or we do our best to go to bed in the Innerworld, at the same time that we do in the physical world.

That is not uncommon for us, either. It is very much an OSDD/DID thing. :)
