Not gone, but you can be unaware of them for most of your life. That happens to many people. I didn't know I had any parts at all, really, until I started therapy less than two years ago. And I'm in my 50s.

I mean. I understand where you're coming from. You don't want to deal with this because you have so much stress in your life already and don't want to deal with this. When I first realised my illness I spent a few months just doing reckless things because I'm already crazy so what difference does it make right?

First of all noone can say if they will go away or not. And when they go away they don't actually go away. It's as if you have a tumour in your brain and you're asking if it'll go away if you ignore it. No, it won't. You need to get it treated. You have a mental illness, DID or otherwise, something is wrong. You have to get it treated.
