For littles to talk about difficult topics (Trigger Warning)

Postby Ponyta » Sun Apr 14, 2019 1:28 am

This is for the littles who want to talk about difficult stuff or trauma-related stuff. Stuff found on here may be triggering- so please read with caution.

I guess this is a better place to talk about this. Do any other kids get urges to hurt their body? If you do how do you fight them. -frisk

Hi frisk. This is Nadia. Others try to help me--they don't leave me alone to figure it out. Because if it was just me, I would do it. I would bang on myself and make a big bruise because I'm so bad. But last time I wanted to do that, we went running, and my feet pounding on the ground is kind of the same as my fist banging on my body, so it kind of helps.

hi frisk and nadia,
i don't have any tips but the bigs say that there is something you want and sometimes you can get it in different ways. like i want to feel control and then i just play the sims and make them do bad stuff. then i also feel better.
or sometimes i put on music and dance to get the energy out.

I wanna take away all bad parts off body and no one touch me.

Sometimes bigs let me slap my mouth and it's OK. They let me slap and I don't try destroy.

I don't know how not to hurt. My whole body wants to hurt, it can't stay still.

From Floralie: Hi all little ones and tweens in here! I just wanted to say that we have adults trying to help our littler ones with their problems. You don't have to know how to help them, because it is adult jobs, not little's job to help. You can just tell how you feel. I will make sure everyone is safe, also when they feel bad things, so you don't have to worry about our littles. They are all safe, they just feel bad. Sorry for interrupting. I think sometimes littles can need adult ones when thinking about bad things.

arianna is 2.5 and has these kinds of feelings. It's hard even for our bigger people to help a kid who can't even talk.

Does anyone else have kids who can't talk who have these feelings?

I hate everything and just want to sit and hold my baby doll. We used to have real babies I could hold and take care of. Then we didn't have to do all this scary stuff out in the world where people can SEE us. When you have babies and kids, people don't really see you--they just see a mom, and you can hide and just be really good at that one thing. And we have a job where you can hide also, because people just see a role and don't care so much who you really are or what you look like or anything. I got to hide for a really long time.

I don't care if it's good things or bad things that people notice about us--I hate all of it. I don't want anyone to see us at all. (Someone is asking me, what about the T? I don't mind if he sees me--but that doesn't really count because it's NOT out in the world. It's just in his office or writing back to me.)

It's really not fair that we're doing all these things I hate. I know they love it and didn't get a chance to do it before and they LIKE being seen and looking good and being good at stuff while people are watching. I wish I was part of someone ELSE who didn't like doing that and was happy just, like, working at a daycare or a preschool. They said we could do that a little, or something where we get to be with babies and little kids, but that won't help me the rest of the time.

We're going to see the T tomorrow and Friday, and they said I can bring my baby doll to show him, even if some of them don't like that idea. And they've all been nice to me and letting me watch Kimba and stuff, but that doesn't change having to do all the scary stuff.

Hi Nadia. We hear you about hating all that stuff. And yeah it doesn't feel fair at all.

We are glad that you at least have a baby doll, though.

Can you tell your T about all the stuff you said? Or email it to him? Or both?

Hi Christine and other kids.

This is another place to talk about hard stuff. A place to put stuff into words that other people will read.

So maybe you're worried about me or something? Which is nice, but that's not why I'm writing on here. I'm not writing to have other kids worry or try to help me. Or tell me I should talk to my T.

My T helps me a lot, and always likes me, and I can tell him anything.

Hi Nadia,

We're not worried. Cuz we know that you have your bigger people and your T and your friends here.

We were just trying to be friendly. We're sorry if that bothered you.

Anyway we did read what you had to say.
