Everything is quiet. Possible tw?

Postby Soggycereal » Mon Jan 08, 2018 8:08 pm

Hello everyone, I'm not entirely sure if im doing this correctly, so i apologize if this is in the wrong place.

I recently ran away from home, and now everyone inside is completely silent, normally when i do my normal routine of asking how everyone is and if theres anything i can do to help out inside, I would at least hear a few replies saying that their day was fine, but recently, there's nothing, i can't hear anyone, i cant see anything, and I'm very worried.

This is a bit unrelated, but i feel like i should add that before i left (a few days before), i seen an image of a pregnant woman and heard a baby crying, everyone was pretty chatty that day, so im confused and i feel like I've done something wrong.

Again, i apologize if this isn't in the correct place.

Hi Soggycereal,

I guess if you refer to everyone inside you have DID or something related like DDNOS, OSDD1 or at least identify with multiplicity?

then yes! you are in the right place.

Maybe they are scared (because running away seems like a super big deal!) or maybe they are giving yo some space to figure things out?

I am not sure if you have done something wrong - because I dont know why you ran away. OF course destabilizing your living situation can make things harder. but getting away from bad things can make things better.

Are you doing ok?
keep ya head up, Don't let up, keep slayin em

not sure what the point was.

Thank you so much for replying!

In short, i left because of some things that were making me very uncomfortable, these things had been going on for a while, but i finally decided that i was tired and wanted out (It's probably not that serious, but it feels like it to me)

And yes, im doing quite fine now, thank you so much for asking :) . I guess I'll give everyone some time, and see how that goes? Thank you again, for replying.

Good luck. I took us away from home a long time ago. Turned out to be the right thing for us. Hope it is for you.

Take care.

Colin

Are you the host or an alter like me?

Thank you so much :)

Honestly, im not entirely sure, for all i know im the host?

I don't have a diagnosis, i just identify with multiplicity (that's why i was so worried about posting in the wrong place)
I have been wanting to talk things over about this with my therapist, but as soon as i mentioned it she said there was no way i could possibly have it because it's extremely rare, so i dont know, that basically sent me into denying everything/ everyone, so I'm still trying to work on not saying "hey im faking, the things im feeling, hearing, etc. Are fake" that's been on my mind since she said it, and whenever i try to bring up things i talk to them about, or hear them talking about, she changes the subject.

I hope that doesn't make anyone upset with me.

Rare my A*S! There are 129680 posts on just this forum. Even the research says DID is 1.5% of the US population - about 4 MILLION people. That's like the population of Los Angeles having DID!

Your T needs to get a grip on reality.

I'm supposed to be meeting someone new really soon, I'm actually pretty nervous to try bringing it up, after that happened.

Everybody thinks they're faking it. At least sometimes. It needs to be an official symptom - "If you think you're faking it you aren't".

Maybe go to an open minded T and say "This is what's happening".
