If you're in the UK, PODS can give you a list of therapists in your area who've done their course.

Elsewhere, ISSTD's website has a list of therapists who've had their training.

Okay, so I'm freaking out a bit, lastnight i decided to sleep in the living room, there are two doors that lead to it, i closed them both, and when i woke up this morning one was open, so i asked everyone in the house if they had opened that door, they all said no, but my gran said she opened the other door, so maybe when she closed it, it made the other one open? I have no clue, it never makes the other door open, and when i got up a few times lastnight and went back in, i went through the other door.

Im sorry if this is silly, i guess i needed to tell someone.
From what i understand i (we?) Have never switched, like ever, so im super confused..
Ugh i dont know.

I guess im just going to leave it to it being the air conditioner being on and me not closing it as well as i thought i did.

Even a slight breeze or draft can open a door if the latch thingy (I don't know the proper name but the bit that sticks out and goes in when you turn the handle) isn't fully in place. It's also possible someone opened it while half asleep and doesn't remember. It's also possible you do switch and don't remember when it happens. Sorry its having this effect on you.

Thank you for a response.
I'm honestly thinking i didn't close the door as well as i think i did, and that it just opened up.

It's just so strange that it happened right now, because i was just arguing with myself about faking and stuff; a few nights ago there was a half empty bottle of water on the bed that made me suspicious, but i figure i got up and got water and just dont remember doing it.

Honestly, people who really are “faking” don’t spend time arguing with themselves about it. Also, there don’t have to be things happening that you don’t remember for you to have DID. I’m sorry that your T has been so invalidating and unsupportive. People don’t “turn their thoughts into voices.” I hope you are able to find a good and helpful T soon.

Hello, this is sort of an update.

Yesterday I heard/ "met" (i didn't ask any questions, just let them know they were welcome and free to say whatever they want to, to me) someone new, there's not much to add to that, but that this morning while i was thinking about if i should sleep in a little, I heard someone say "switching out is a bit confusing" (they sound very similar to the person i met yesterday, but I'm not sure if it's the same person)

I guess I'm worrying if that's a good or bad thing? I have no experience with that stuff, so I'm not sure how to feel about it.

Sorry if this makes no sense, for some reason this was really tough to write.
