Roll Call

This post came up in a search when we were looking for some old posts of ours and were really surprised to read what we (as Kit McDaydream) had written back then! …though going by the date it’s not actually as far back as we thought!!

But….Wow ...our system has been through quite a lot of changes since then! …with insiders attempting to blend or integrate with a specific other than it not working and re-splitting then re-integrating again with different ones….we’ve had covid since then and post viral fatigue causing ME and experienced a stroke ..or stroke-like symptoms a couple of times which is now thought to be Functional Neurological Disorder I do also think the severe hormonal shifts from the end of Peri-menopause has been the major trigger for alot of the disruption!

After recently re-splitting to 12,,,some have again attempted to re-integrate.

Apart from my youngest ‘inner child’ previously known on here as ‘little Susie’ (LS)..all others who were in the past considered by us to be ’social mask hosts’ (went to college/work/dealt with social life etc) have integrated into one and become ‘Lily-Kate' they still come forwards to deal with admin and stuff like face-to-face appointments for us.

They also cover some non-DID support groups where the focus is not on being multiple..they are effectively our 'new social mask' as we don’t need so many of them these days!

They are the one who plays the legal self/answers to real name (which isn’t LK) /deals with public etc..the one you would meet if you met us on the street. whether they are ‘more L' or ‘more K’ depends on who they are talking to and who the external person knows ‘us’ as.


Jess has remained seperate she is my emotional support out front.

Kitty has remained seperate and still lives inside with her partner acting as internal caretakers for our littles who are now also calling themself Luna & Bear! (suggesting they also each maybe an integration of more than 1 past insider)

’This me’ is using the name Jay or JJ (depends whether Jess is blended with me at time) online ..I have been out on here before (also using the name Jay) but I don’t feel quite the same!….I think I have some others ‘in my mix’ though not sure who. I definitely have more memories of more of life than I previously had.

When I look inside I can also see 2 dogs that were dogs when we were growing up but I’m not sure if they are changelings or just internal 'NPC background animals’ for the littles so they can have pets inside too. (We still have our external dog 'Mr Woof' on the outside too!).

How long we’ll stay this way is anyone’s guess!!

We wonder how everyone else’s systems are getting on and whether you have changed much from when you did your roll call back then?

Colin wrote this a long time ago - We have the Rescue Team to get us out of bad sh*t. They're authorized to use force. We also have the Hostage Negotiation Team to talk our way out. They are authorized to lie, cheat, and manipulate. We try not to use these teams because there can be collateral damage. It's better to use the Resources Development Team who organize help and make friends. That's a lower cost option.

We still have our Protector Teams but there are new ones now that are more for doing happier things. We have the Hiking Team and the Build Things Team.

We have an Emergency Team too ...it seems I think our system maybe bigger than first thought as we are uncovering parts of the inner world locked. I think the few of ours that do come out and have taken a name to communicate with the outside world are just kind of ‘the tip of the iceberg’

Hi LK,

Nice to know someone else has teams too. The other day we were trying to get a team together to go to a work training thing. 'So who wants to go?' Crickets. 'Nobody going to be on the team?' Crickets. Sometimes it's hard to get a team going.

Long time ago we really surprised Host that there were so many of us. It's not a HUGE iceberg but he was pretty weirded out by everybody showing up.
