Hey there,
My name is Pammie and I am momentarily 14. I love horses and all animals actually. My favorite color is Teal. I like to make things (crafts)
My T is really cool and we made Dragon eggs. It took us a few sessions but they are really cool. We also put a picture of a cartoon on a t=shirt for Angelina(she is 4). This Tuesday we are going to start on wands and I am very excited. I also like to work with clay and make jewelry.

Glad there are other teens here :)

Hi.
My name's Cat. I don't really know what to say. I'm 13. I didn't know there were other people that feel like I do and have bodies that are older and everything. I just kind of wanted to say hi. It would be really cool to talk to some other teenagers, if anyone wants to because I don't really get to talk to anyone except our T and it's lame (even though our T is pretty decent to me).
I like dance, but I don't get to do it because I'm not very well. My favourite colours are black and purple. Ummm.... I dunno what else!

hi Pammie and Cat, it's nice to meet you guys. i'm Tammie (our names rhyme?) and i'm between 10 and 14, depending how im feeling. i have a lot of siblings and im right in the middle. dragon eggs sound really fun, my sister (shes 4) loves dragons so if you could tell me more about that so we could try it that would be really nice and id like to listen.

it's really nice to know theres other people like you. even in our body i feel really alone sometimes, because i have lots of thoughts and feelings the others dont. my mom and our T helps me understand its okay and im just as important, but its difficult when you dont see others like you. my favourite colour is black too, i always like to wear black, i like to wear hoodies and jewelry with goth themes. i like to listen to music that describes how i feel, like emotional or 'edgy' music. i really like songs from musicals because sometimes they talk about topics pop music doesnt.

we're being moved in T to something more specialized for us, and we're just worried how our new Ts will feel about us kids and teenagers. we did play and crafts with our current T and it was the best, so we hope they do that with us. mom is going to make sure she asks for us, but im nervous. but im doing okay overall. hope you guys are ok.

Tammie

Hi Tammie and Pammie (that's funny - you kind of sound like twins  )

I don't really know what dragon eggs are, but I'd like to know more about it too. It sounds cool. I've been thinking of trying to do some mosaics or something, but I don't really know how to.

That's sad about feeling alone. I feel like that too. On the inside I was on my own in a shut off place for a really long time and I didn't come out of there until not that long ago. I was really upset for a while that it isn't 1998 because I thought it still was, but now I think maybe it's kind of cool. Like I'm a time traveller! And K (who's the one that gets to be in the body most of the time) didn't like me being around because I get angry and do sort of bad stuff sometimes. But now she's trying to be nice to me and so is our T, so it's getting a bit better. And on the inside R is always around and chatting to me, but she is 3 and I don't really know how to talk to her. And K still doesn't believe that I'm real some of the time. She thinks she's making me up and faking or whatever. But I don't know why she thinks that she gets to be the one making me up. Maybe I'm the one making her up!

That sounds scary about being moved to new T. I wouldn't like that and I think I would feel really nervous too. Are you going to have more than one T? That's good that you are doing ok though and I hope your mom remembers to ask about the crafts and everything.

I don't really know what music I like. I don't think I listened to that much stuff. Pop music always seems to be about mushy love stuff and I'm not really into that. You could tell me what bands you like or whatever and maybe I could see if I like that too..?

hi Tammie & Pammie & Cat

i'm Vanessa. i like animals too, especially cats & foxes. we have 4 cats here (5 if you count viola lol) but the only fox here is a plushie. i like black & purple too but i think my favourite colour is pink!

i like taking pictures of stuff, though mostly i just take pictures of the cats because its too cold and scary to go outside much. maybe when its summer i can go out and find other things to take pictures of.the others let me get my own camera (its pink!) and i really like it. i'm going to make my own camera strap, but i have to figure out what colours i want it to be.

i haven't met our T and i don't really want to. she knows i'm here but the others haven't told her my name yet. we kind of don't want to. they think our T doesn't work well with younger people, and i don't think i want to deal with her.

Vanessa

ps what are dragon eggs? how do you make them?

Hi Vanessa,

It's cool to meet you. Wow, you have a lot of cats! I'm allergic (which is kind of ironic because I'm named after one!) so we can't have cats or any animals at my house really. I've got a soft toy animal thingy too though, but he's hard to describe because he's a sort of imaginary animal. He's got lots of black and grey fur and you can make it smooth or spiky depending on his mood :D. He makes me feel less alone if I get sad or anything.

Taking pictures sounds really cool too. That means you can let everyone see the world how you see it, which is awesome cos it can be hard to explain that in words sometimes. K got me this game which is lots of cards of interesting photos and you can use it to tell stories or figure out connections between the pictures. I think I'm going to play it with our T on Wednesday. I like pictures too, but I'm not that good at taking them.

I didn't want to see our T for a long time either cos I thought she would just be useless and a hypocrite like really all the other adults I've ever met. But then she kept on being nice about me to K and trying to understand and stuff so then I thought maybe it was worth a go, and I just went for a few minutes and we did colouring and it was ok. Now it's good and we talk about a lot of stuff and things are a bit better. I mean, not totally better because I'm still never going to be able to have my own life and friends and dance and stuff, and that really sucks and is just unfair and s***, but it's better than being inside on my own. I don't think you should feel like you have to go and see your T unless it feels ok for you though. I think it's fair not to trust them unless they earn it.

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for responding, because it looked like this room wasn't getting used much.
My Dragon egg came out super cool.
We wanted to use regular size eggs like the ones they sell for easter, but my T accidently ordered big ones from Amazon without realizing it. So as always we worked with what we got. Everything we do is like an experiment. she bought on at a fairre and thought I might like to figure how to make one.
We looked up how other people had done them. Most people spray painted with something that was made for plastic. Well, we just went right ahead and used the hot glue guns to make a pattern on the egg. Then we painted, this was the hard part. I chose black. I poured some of the paint on the top of my egg and sort of spongebrushed it so it was pretty thick. The next week we just layered sparkly paint. My last layer was leftover paint from another project I did (christmas ornaments) I used the same pour over way.
The egg is beautiful. I made a rock "nest" around it and it is super. Today we start wands and I am excited about it because I still have paint left from the christmas project that I can use.

Wow Pammie! That sounds so awesome! Did you make like a textured pattern with the hot glue? I would never think of doing that, that's really creative. Did your T make one as well? I'd like to try doing something like that but I think I'd just do it wrong cos I tend to mess things up. What sort or wands are you making? Like magician wands? Your T sounds cool.

I'm having kind of a sucky day because I heard I can't go and see our T tomorrow because her family are sick. I can talk to her on the phone if she didn't get sick as well, but that's not the same and we can't play the game I wanted to play. And last night I watched a Youtube video that gave me like a big flashback and I had a bit of a 'meltdown' as K calls it. So that was great  Ugh.

Hope everyone else is doing ok though.

CatCat,

Crafting is fun and all our projects have a purpose. My T does the same projects as me most of the time except yesterday she glued her wand and I had moved on to painting mine then I sewed teddybear arms and legs on.

When doing crafts, it is something new and it's okay if it is not perfect. I hate to use the word perfect because nothing is perfect in and of itself. You can google almost any craft and find ideas to make it, you just have to jump in and try. My T knows that I am okay with just figuring out how to do things, so many of the things we make are to see if it is a craft she thinks her other teen clients would like.

I understand about wanting your project to look good though. Right now I am sewing bears because a lady that we know wants a dress of her sister made into a memory bear. I have made about 6 trial ones and have not tweaked the pattern to make me happy. I will just keep trying.
Have a great day--Pammie

Hi Cat,

I'm Devin and I'm 14. I'm sorry you couldn't see your T today. Did you get to talk to her on the phone?

I thought we might be able to go see our T on Friday, but he said we might have to see him on zoom instead because he might have been exposed. We saw him on zoom today, but it's not the same. We want to go to his office.

We don't do crafts with our T. Sometimes the littles will color while we talk to him, but that's not the same. He would probably do a craft if we wanted to though.
