Odd that you would have to go and click in 700 something to get to this years...

This year is starting off ok, I have fry (baby fish - Guppies), and we have a positive life change, when we can get use to it...
I want to walk my dog more 9even though -30 !!!)
And finding this board and other boards on here too that could help, are ok for the start of the new year too. :).

Welcome aboard!

Yes this thread is very long and dates back since forever with hundreds of pages of messages.

Congratulations on the baby guppies!

You are brave to keep walking the dog outside despite the temperature (please tell me it's Celcius, it's dreadful enough -30°C ((-22F)), I cant begin to imagine what -30F ((-34°C)) could be...)

Here I'm doing my best to keep up with all the adminstration papers that need be done. We need all the papers to be updated. Some we won't bother (the driving license as an example, we do not need it since we cannot drive anymore so why bother updating it?).

We also watched Disney's Encanto movie. It is very good though also kida bittersweet. This family soves their issues and talks about the "family secrets". The body's family on the other hand... All in all it is a good movie, visually nice, the scenario is interesting, it's rare that a Disney have no "villain" per se (here the "villain" are the family issues that need be solved), the musics are nice too, the characters are diverse and endearing. I totally recommend it.

I had the most bizarre dream ever! (at night asleep I mean)

so yesterday I found myself drawn to a post on another forum about video games...someone saying how amazing 'Stardew Valley' is..I've never seen it so looked it up on YT and found myself spending a good few hours watching clips about it! ..before I knew it, it was nearly midnight and I had to be up early so went to bed.

Woke up this morning remembering I couldn't find my way back out of StarDew Valley to get home!! ..I'd somehow been dropped into this virtual reality as an Avatar and had to find all the characters that related to me but all had different names in this universe!

The last thing I remember is feeling I was lost in a mine trying to find the 'secret door' to get back to the real world! ...one of the most bizarre dreams I've ever had!! ..especially considering I haven't even played the game..just watched a few video clips of it before going to bed!!

so no idea what thats telling me...buy the game??? look for someone I'd forgotten about??? who knows??

What we do right before sleeping especially movies / videos we watch as well as video games we play, often have influences upon our dreams.

When I was a kid and spent the day picking wild berries with my grandparents, the night was also spent dreaming about picking berries.

Having surgery tomorrow. Littles are very panicky so we're trying to have them focus on getting apple juice and crackers when we wake up, and then coming home afterwards and watching a Disney movie.

We kept busy all day today getting everything ready and also doing as much of our usual routine as we could, but whenever we paused, we could feel the panic.

It was much easier when we had a different surgery 10 years ago, because we weren't aware of each other and parts were much more protected on the inside. We were much more disconnected from whatever real life experience the body was having. Now there's much more awareness, but we don't know how to handle difficult situations with this much of ourselves in play. We can't handle the range of feelings yet.

Hopefully all will go well, and we'll move into the phase of having to lie in bed with our feet up for a couple of weeks. We'll be allowed to walk as needed, we're just supposed to ice and elevate our feet as much as possible.
