As much as I hate to admit it I'm worried about going to my ear appointment at the hospital tomorrow. I'm worried about parking. I'm worried about being late. I'm worried they will mess up again and not treat it properly. I had proper treatment once and this chronic problem did not return for 2 years. For the last 2 years it's been treated wrong or the doctor was off sick and they cancelled or they only had a nose doctor available. I made an appointment at a different hospital so I'm hoping it'll be good but also worried about it.

I feel lonely. And there is constantly memory coming up from all the times we were in bad clinics and got mistreated or diagnosed wrong and just not seen for who we are.

Had a flash back. Now I feel weird and scared and sick to my stomach. Also a little manic. Despair.

Big project being presented tonight and tomorrow—definitely pushing my comfort zone because it involves a lot of performing in front of people.  Wish me luck!

Thank you, birdsong and Amythyst! The first one went very well, so that bodes well for tonight, too. It helps that thanks to therapy, I can actually take in and believe praise and compliments much better than I used to. It used to be that I would only believe the internal negative feeling (and any confirmation from outside), and anyone who had a good opinion of me or my talents and abilities was incorrect for whatever reason (ignorant, or just being nice).

Wishing you all a good weekend.

Thanks MakersDozen. I'm still a little confused and annoyed at myself for that. There's no sense in letting an inconsequential memory affect me so. I feel foolish and angry at myself.

Gang, I'm glad that it sounds like your self esteem has been improving, and that your project is going well! I wish all the best for you and that you have a great weekend too!

Sarandipity, I hope that your appointment went well and that you're doing alright.
