The arm that I cut on feels like it's falling asleep, but I haven't had it in a position that would make it fall asleep, and I've been moving it around for about 20 minutes into different positions that I know from experience should stop the sensation, but it still feels like I'm cutting off circulation or something. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with my cutting, but is it possible...?

Do you cut very deep? I don't know about this. It seems odd.

I am not a professional but it is possible you have done some nerve damage from the cutting, esp if you cut deep. I would suggest you go to see your Dr and talk to them about this as it sounds like it needs checking out. Good luck

I don't cut very deep, but I read that there could still be nerve damage, as some nerves are RIGHT below the surface. It feels a little better now, so I'll just wait a few more days; it feels like it'll probably go away completely. Thanks to the both of you! (:

Something similar happened to me, I don't cut my upper arm often but at first it made my arm feel very heavy and it felt sort of numb as well, it went away though and it doesn't happen anymore ^^
Obviously if it is still happening or continues to happen you might want to get it checked out like was suggested ^^
I already know where to find the answer... It's under my skin, and that's why I can't stop.

My daughter has recently cut so deep to damage tendons and muscles and is experiencing much the same as you are.... tingling, numbness and peculiar sensations when someone or something touches that area.

I cut my index-finger once, by accident. Somehow, I kept feeling the cut on my thumb. My brain was convinced that the cut was on my thumb.

I found this also. To counteract the numbness in my arm, i would apply pressure to the place where the numbness is, i found out it is pain there, probably due to do some vein damage. This really helped for me, i hope this helps for you.
