Are itching scars normal?

Postby ArchCannon » Thu May 24, 2018 12:58 am

Is it normal when over two-months-old scars have started to itch a few days ago? Or is it a reasonable cause for concern?

I thought itching was an effect of healing in process, but scars are supposed to be signifying the end of healing.
They have something to believe in, and that is all they need.
It's not that much. But it's also everything.

Yeah. In my experience, I have over a years worth of old cutting scars that still itch sometimes, and I have seen other people mention having their scars itch too. My burn scars never really get itchy, just a bit sore, but the cutting scars definitely do, so yes, it is normal.

Thanks, good to know it's not something to freak out about.
