Thank you for sharing your story and being so honest about things Gato. It sounds like you have gone through so much and it's an inspiration to see how you are working so hard to overcome it.
Blame it on me, but know that I won't regret one iota.

Hello Ladyswan,

Thank you for accepting my voice.
My voice has not been heard by my family, teachers and community I used to belong to.
This space is very important for me to be myself and to speak.
My pent-up voice requires a place to go.

I was thinking when my symptoms started.

...I remember that I was being very distracted in university days.
I remember that I was studying at the university library.
I put my cell phone near my notebook.
I constantly paid attention to my cell phone and was not able to concentrate on my study.

Dr. Kitai at WCH in Toronto diagnosed me as PTSD in May, 2010.
She described that I have loss of concentration.
She was right.
I remember that I had loss of concentration around age 20. I am now in my early 30's.
For at least thirteen years, I have loss of concentration.
It's a pain to have this symptom for such a long time.

Dr. Kitai diagnosed me as PTSD, but she did not mention if my PTSD is post traumatic stress disorder or Complex post-traumatic stress disorder. I diagnose myself as Complex post-traumatic stress disorder. I need to get recovered.
