When I hear about grown people getting sexually abused and I see how difficult it is for them to move forward, I think about me as a child and how I just had to deal with it on my own.
I mean if grown adults struggle, then how the heck are children supposed to cope

yeah.. most kids dont even know what abuse is or what is happening to them is wrong.
when i was 23 a guy touched me inappropriately, i just had tears in my eyes. i couldnt tell him to go away.
how the person is raised also has a huge impact. some of us were broken as kids. as my mom once said: kids must be broken when they are young.
