I've never been prescribed Latuda. In the past I have been prescribed with mood stabilisers and also antipsychotics (Seroquel). Didn't do a lot for me so wasn't on them for long.

The thing to remember though is that everyone reacts differently to medication. What might work for one person may not for another and with mental health it can be a bit trial and error with meds. Also some medications used perhaps for other conditions, like antipsychotics are often prescribed for other reasons. For me the Seroquel was for sleep not that it helped me but it works for a lot of people.

If you're concerned speak with your doctors again. Other people's experiences may differ greatly so in this context it may not actually help to know how other people found it.
