Ex wife

Postby Bwithme » Thu Mar 26, 2020 7:09 pm

I was married to a borderline for 8 years, although I did not realize it at the time. It was a roller coaster of extremes that became too much for me over time. I loved her deeply, but she often took major offense at little or nothing. This would lead to screaming and crying for hours! I was either the best or worst husband in the world. She was unfaithful a couple of times. She was incredible sexually, but after a while- that did not compensate for her inability to keep a job, her tantrums, and refusal to seek help. I wonder what I could have done differently- I did my best, but could not take it any longer.

you could have gone to therapy with her. with me i needed attention a lot. and also a lot of validation. like i had to be in spotlight which i realize now can be exhaustive for the other person.

I did, but when the Therapist wanted her to come by herself- she would not. She did not want to look in the mirror and face her issues.
