I was a family lawyer and specialised in cases like this. A mental health diagnosis does not make you an unfit parent. Tell your sister to see a lawyer or legal advice centre. If your sister is a good Mum there is no reason to remove her children from her. In the UK there is normally legal aid available for cases like this. In my career I asisted many people with mental health issues and they kept their kids. I wish you both well and really hope all this gets sorted out.
