Blog Subject: | Recurring dream |
I had that dream again where I’m moving out of my apartment & discarding most of my things. It’s day 9 of my cycle. |

Most likely. I have this dream often. Maybe it will never go away, who knows? |

At least it's not a reoccurring nightmare. It's strange- sometimes I will have dreams that upon waking have the feel of I've done this before, over and over. But then quickly forget them- I couldn't recall a single one to you now. I rather suspect I have many reoccurring dreams but they must be fairly inconsequential. But if this one sticks out, something in it must feel important to you. Could it have something to do with that hoarding post you just made in forum? |

I used to have a recurring nightmare for a few years where I had to evacuate my apartment immediately & I would literally frantically jump out of bed & start scrambling around getting ready to leave & then wake myself up in the process confused as hell. It was scary. Luckily this dream isn’t scary. That recurring nightmare hasn’t happened for at least 4 years now, so that gives me hope this dream will eventually play out. I’m legit obsessed with hoarding disorder right now though. It’s what surrounds me at this point in time, so it’s not too surprising I’m thinking about it in my sleep too. |

I have to remind people in OCD that when they have a dream they're whatever they fear it's not so much confirmation as it's what they keep thinking about when awake. |
