“Reservations for Two”

I’m with an exbf, walking in the city. We’re ducking into a concrete stairwell momentarily before continuing on. We’re in the entrance of a restaurant waiting to be seated. He is ordering two entrees for us both. My entree includes white rice. I’m eating the food. It is bland tasting. I am noticing the check has arrived, but my exbf has abandoned me. I am getting up & leaving the restaurant abruptly. No one in the restaurant is noticing. I’m walking back to my apartment alone. There are other pedestrians walking in the same direction as I. It is dark. We are having to walk in the street sometimes, as the sidewalk is closed.

“Sister City”

I’m with my sibling. We’re walking through what looks like a university campus. We’re in an empty basement classroom, ascending to the outside. I’m following her. My high school math teacher is saying something & we’re pausing in our ascent. I am turning around & seeing him talking to me. He is telling me I am failing math. He is telling me how to improve. It’s to do with my skipping classes, but reading a book will lead to improvement.

Blog Subject:  The vet’s office didn’t even call me yesterday!

My other cat stayed in her fort all day, which is very unlike her. :( I didn’t see her get up to eat or use her litter pan. This sucks! Father asked if I was going to call them... Ugh. I hope they didn’t call on accident & not because they harmed/killed my cat. :( Other than the stomatitis & his age (13), he is healthy. I’ve had him since he was 6 weeks old (found under a dumpster in a parking lot), so we’re very bonded.

Blog Subject:  Managing My Anger Better Today...So Far

Triggered by a family member’s comments this morning. I said my piece, felt my anger, & then was able to distract myself until the feeling subsided. I’m feeling calmer now. I accept there will be differences of opinions & that it’s okay. We each have a right to our beliefs as long as we don’t harm one another.

I’m more worried about my cat. I dropped him off at the vet yesterday to begin the process of extracting his teeth to manage his stomatitis. He stayed overnight. Today I’m waiting for the call to come pick him up. My other cat and I miss him very much. He truly is the love of our lives!

Humans, not so much. I don’t wish pain & suffering on the other humans at all. But neither do I wish to “set myself on fire to keep them warm”. I’ve got issues of my own, obviously. I don’t need their issues too. I’m annoyed by the other humans trying to make their issues, my issues. I’ve had all I can take.
