Huh, we’re getting older, aren’t we?
Although I still feel a kid-like fascination with your inquisitive, interesting, exploring, informative, well mannered mind and I know that area has not aged at all. I hope that years to come will keep it as sharp as it is now.
I am very sorry for everything you’re going through. Life has put a lot on you and you can’t possibly imagine how often I wish things were different. I can feel your hurt, you know that, but I also know that you are strong, proud and capable of stoically moving forward in spite of difficulties. I have always greatly admired your strength and I know you can keep it by your side. It defines you and it will always shine around you.
I have so much to say to you, but instead I will just say: Happy B-day! May your year be filled with peace, health and hope!
